##### A Pay What You Can recording: type 0 in the prompt box to download my life's work for free #####
hey everyone... i made some music inspired by life. i started working on songs that people should listen to hungover, but it led to an opus about the morning.
my grandfather died in january 2012 and i participated in the quebec student strike in early 2012 — which was working towards free education for everyone in quebec.
these tunes came out naturally after a week or so of ben and i playing out our feelings together. it was a gorgeous march morning on the weekend, the brightest and hottest yet that year. we set up a microphone while two of our most respected and loved friends read and sat in as audience, helping develop the scene and the vibe.
in april cops broke my arm, so this couldn't be finished sooner. all overdubs to the BE the Sun Beds takes were done in my home with a tiny, but very sensitive microphone. almost all drums were played with chopsticks. thank you to tim his fantastic violin takes.
free download. free as in air and water.
thanks to all the material and spiritual conditions necessary for this to come about.
